Having spent a wonderful day out with a few crafty friends a couple of weeks ago, at Sincerely Yours craft show, and spending all of my pocket money, I thought it might be nice to share my latest card with you.

Hello and welcome

Well........ I said I would, and I did!

I finally set up a blog for my crafty makes.

I will start by introducing some of my stitched mandalas. I have recently been lucky enough to hold two workshops for my patterns at "Let's Create" in Coningsby, and what a fantastic time I had. The ladies seemed to enjoy themselves too.
We worked on several designs, but the one which caught much of the attention was a snowflake:

I used AB coated beads which catch the light and sparkle like ice.

Another is "Ziggy". this looks quite complicated, but the pre-pricked holes and stiched design makes placing the beads relatively straight forward.

All of my patterns are designed to look interesting with or without the beading, but adding a bit of bling never hurts does it?

I have permission from one of the ladies - Jean Newholm- to show you some of her lovely work. Since the first workshop, she has been very busy making some boxed sets for raffle prizes and has made a fabulous job of all of them.

Thankyou Jean, I look forward to sharing more of your work soon.

Well, that's all from me for now.
I hope you have enjoyed this first post, see you soon.
